Wellspring Strategies

Terms of Sale

Last updated: September 2026

These terms cover buying AI for Local and Small Businesses. Please read them before you buy. Paying for the book means you accept them. Nothing in them removes rights you have by law as a consumer.

1. Who you are buying from

Wellspring Strategies Ltd, a company registered in Scotland, company number SC855248. Registered office: 22 Mackie Place, Elrick, Westhill, AB32 6AP, Scotland. You can write to us at that address or email support@wellspringstrategies.co.uk. We aim to answer within two working days.

2. What you are buying

A digital book, "AI for Local and Small Businesses", supplied as a PDF file of 164 pages. The price is £49.99, paid once. No VAT is added, because e-books are zero-rated in the UK. There is no subscription and nothing further to pay.

To read it you need a device and software that opens PDF files, which every modern phone, tablet and computer has. The file has no copy protection. To follow the steps in it you need a laptop or desktop computer.

3. How the sale is made

You pay through Stripe, on Stripe's secure pages. Your card details never reach us. When the payment succeeds we email you a confirmation with your download link. The contract between us is made when that email is sent. If a payment fails, is reversed, or is found to be fraudulent, there is no contract.

At the moment we sell the book only to buyers with a billing address in the UK. If you pay with a billing address outside the UK, we refund your payment in full and do not send the book, and there is no contract.

4. Delivery

Your download link is emailed to the address you gave at checkout, usually within a minute of paying. The link works for 7 days. If it expires, if the email never arrives, or if you lose the file, email support@wellspringstrategies.co.uk and we will send a fresh link. There is no charge and no time limit on asking.

Check your junk folder first, and make sure the address you typed at checkout is one you can read.

5. Your right to cancel, and why it ends at delivery

When you buy digital content online you normally have 14 days to cancel. The law lets us send the book straight away only if you agree to that and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once delivery starts.

That is the box you tick at checkout. It reads: "I agree to the Terms of Sale. I want the guide sent to me straight away, and I understand that once the download link is sent I lose my 14 day right to cancel. My rights if it is faulty or not as described are not affected." Your agreement is recorded against your payment and repeated in the confirmation email. Without the tick, the purchase cannot go through.

Separately from that, we give you a 14 day money back promise of our own, set out below. We give it voluntarily, so you have the same 14 days to change your mind that you would have had if the book had not been sent straight away.

6. Refunds

We offer a 14 day money back promise. If the book is not what you hoped for, email us within 14 days of buying and we will refund you in full. We ask what did not work for you only so that we can improve the book, and a one line answer is enough. Your licence to use the book ends when we refund you, so please delete your copy.

The following always stands. If the book is faulty, not as described on the page you bought it from, or not of satisfactory quality, you are entitled under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to have it repaired or replaced, and to a price reduction if that does not fix it. If anything in it is wrong or out of date, tell us and we will correct it and send you the updated file at no cost. If our file damages your device or other digital content and we could have prevented that with reasonable care, we will repair the damage or compensate you. These are your legal rights and nothing here limits them.

The promise is meant for genuine buyers. If the same person asks for a refund on more than one purchase, we may decline.

Refunds go back to the card you paid with, within 5 working days of our agreeing to one.

7. Your licence to use the book

The book is copyright © 2026 Wellspring Strategies Ltd. Paying gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download, store, print and read it on your own devices, and to use what it teaches in your own business. You may not resell it, share the file or the download link, post it online, or reproduce substantial parts of it. If you want copies for a team, email us.

8. It is information, not advice

The book is general information based on the author's experience. It is not legal, financial, tax, accounting, employment, insurance or regulatory advice, and reading it creates no professional relationship between us. Where a decision matters, take advice from someone qualified who knows your circumstances, and if they disagree with the book, follow them.

9. No promises about results

We do not promise that following the book will earn you money, save you time or produce any particular result. Any figures in it illustrate a point; they are not predictions. What happens depends on you and your situation.

10. Third parties

Any product, service, price or company named in the book is described as it was at the time of writing. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them unless the book says so, and their terms, prices and availability are theirs to change.

11. Our liability to you

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for loss caused by your own decisions after reading the book. Our total liability to you for anything connected with this purchase is limited to the price you paid, except that nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for breach of your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude.

12. Updates

We may correct or update the book from time to time. If you ask, we will send you the latest version free of charge.

13. Complaints

Email support@wellspringstrategies.co.uk with the email address you ordered with and what has gone wrong. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and try to resolve it within 14. If we cannot, you can ask Advice Direct Scotland (if you live in Scotland) or Citizens Advice (elsewhere in the UK) for help, and you keep every right to take the matter to court.

14. Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland and any dispute can be brought in its courts. If you live elsewhere in the UK you can also rely on the consumer protection law of where you live and bring a claim in your local courts. Nothing here affects any rights that apply to you by law wherever you are.

15. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms for future sales. The version you accepted at checkout is the one that applies to your purchase, and it is dated at the top. How we handle your details is set out in our privacy policy.
